A Fun Day in Kaikoura

I went to bed on Friday very excited for my trip to Kaikoura. I woke up early on Saturday morning looking forward to the trip. I sat in the back of the car with Claire for the ride there, we wanted to stop in Cheviot to stretch our legs. Next stop, Kaikoura. In Kaikoura Dawie drove us to the lookout point, the view was awesome, we all had our photos taken there. We went to the Seal Colony, but they were all out at sea Dawie said.

Kaikoura is good, I like it. It was nearly lunchtime, and we were all getting hungry, but there was something very exciting for us to see first, it was the Classic Car Museum, wow, the cars are awesome. After looking at the cars we went to the Diner for lunch. I wanted a burger and fries, with a bottle of coke. Time to head home, this time I sat with Dawie in the back of the car. We stopped in Cheviot on the way home for a break, after Cheviot we all played “eye spy”, what a lot of fun that was, Paul McElhinney was the best at it. I reckon it was the best day.
